Within the Thomas Group Thomas Technik + Innovation (TTI) is responsible for research, development and production. Our fields of expertise:

• medical and orthopaedic know-how in the areas of sleeping, beds and rehabilitation

• the development and production of innovative materials, including carbon fibre, glass fibre and natural fibre-reinforced polymer composites.

As early as 1957, we invented the first slatted bed base. Countless enhancements and patents followed, including mattresses from our own production lines. Starting in 1969 we added our Rehabilitation Division and in 1975 founded the European Institute of Sleep Physiology.

Today we develop and optimize systems in the automobile industry, the furniture industry, in medical technology and even in window construction.
